When do the readings refresh?
Daily readings refresh at midnight (your device's local time), weekly readings every Monday, and monthly readings on the 1st of each month. Within a period the result stays the same, so the reading you saw in the morning is identical in the evening.
I was born on a boundary date. Which sign am I?
This service uses the widely accepted date ranges (e.g., Aries March 21 - April 19, Taurus April 20 - May 20). The sun's actual position can shift by about a day depending on your birth year and time, so if you were born on a cusp, reading both neighboring signs can be a fun approach.
Is my birthday stored or sent anywhere?
No. Your birthday is used only to identify your sign and is processed instantly inside your browser. It is never sent to or stored on a server, and share links contain only your sign and the selected period — never your birthday.

Is my zodiac sign based on the solar or lunar calendar?
Zodiac signs are always determined by your solar (Gregorian) calendar birthday, because Western astrology tracks the position of the sun. If you only know your birthday on the lunar calendar, convert the lunar date of your birth year to its solar date and enter that. For example, even if you were born on the 1st day of the 6th lunar month, if that fell on July 10 that year, your sign is Cancer (June 22 - July 22).
What are moon signs and rising signs (ascendants), as opposed to sun signs?
