A little scramble. A lot of teamwork.

Word Scramble

A free word scramble for friends, families and teams. Choose animals, food, everyday objects or actions, then host a timed round with big prompts and optional hints.

WORD SCRAMBLE

Ready when your group is

Look at the letters together and find the word.

Prompts and scores stay in this screen. Nothing is saved or sent to a server, and reloading clears the round.

Host your first round

01. Pick a category and a pace

Choose from 120 original prompts: 30 each for animals, food, everyday objects and actions. Try five cards and 60 seconds for your first round. Cards do not repeat within a round. The clock starts only when you press Start game, so get everyone ready first.

02. Unscramble and judge the answer

Players rearrange the letters to find the word. For example, PPYUP becomes Puppy. A slash separates the words in a phrase; rearrange each word separately. The host decides whether a guess is valid and presses Correct to award one point. Agree in advance whether another valid anagram will count.

03. Use a hint or move along

Hints never deduct points automatically. Revealing an answer and choosing Next card earns no points. The round ends when the cards run out or the timer reaches zero. Playing another round reshuffles the selected category; words from earlier rounds may appear again.

Make space for everyone to play

Share the speaking turns

Ask one player at a time or let two teams alternate. Give the active player a few seconds to think before taking another answer. This keeps quick or loud guesses from dominating the whole round. The host should confirm an answer before pressing the scoring button.

Choose familiar words first

Animals and food are useful starting categories for younger players. Show the hint early when a word is unfamiliar. Some cards are short words and others are phrases; this collection is for casual play and is not a graded vocabulary test or a measure of language ability.

Set up the shared screen

Use a large display for the letters and let the host control the buttons. The clock keeps running if you switch tabs, so finish a round before taking a break. Reloading clears the score. Use the separate team scoreboard if you want to add scores over several rounds.
